Taco Bell is moving forward with plans for a location near the Fountains at St. Johns mixed-use development in northeast St. Johns County.
The quick-serve restaurant with drive-thru capacity is proposed at 1549 County Road 210, just east of Interstate 95.
The master-planned Beachwalk community is about 2 miles east.
Jacksonville-based GPD Group is listed as the civil engineer on the project.
The property is owned by 210 East LLC, whose managers are Reekee Patel and Jonathan Heldenbrand. The registered agent is the Jacksonville Beach-based Peek & Miska law firm.
According to tacobell.com, Taco Bell restaurants in St. Johns County are at 335 Harper Lane in St. Johns and 1820 U.S. 1 S. and 2453 Florida 16 in St. Augustine.
Tacobell.com shows there are 8,237 Taco Bell locations in the United States, not including the site along County Road 210.
The St. Johns County Development Review Committee is scheduled to discuss the Taco Bell project May 13.
