Balfour Beatty announced April 30 it had promoted Dave Campbell to vice president of operations in Florida, a move that the company said was designed to promote its growth strategy by strengthening leadership in Jacksonville and North Florida.

In a news release, London-based Balfour Beatty said Campbell’s roles with the company have included project management and senior leadership positions for more than 30 years. He has been based in Jacksonville, where he will remain.

“In his expanded role, Dave oversees the company’s Jacksonville and Northern Florida operations and leads all project deliveries in this market largely shaped by aviation and aerospace expansion,” the release said. “At the same time, Dave supports the rapid adoption of emerging mobility infrastructure programs across the Southeast, helping prepare teams and communities for connected, next‑generation transportation systems that demand new approaches to planning, collaboration and risk management.”

Balfour Beatty’s projects in Northeast Florida include the $344 million Concourse B project at Jacksonville International Airport, the $12.1 million renovation of a Cecil Airport hangar as a production facility for Otto Aerospace to build its Phantom 3500 business jet, and the almost $40.54 million Bay Street Innovation Corridor for the Jacksonville Transportation Authority.
