Daybreak Market taking steps in Mandarin; Walmart Neighborhood Market remodels

The gas station and convenience store is plans to build on the former site of a Golden Corral restaurant.

Daybreak Market continues working toward developing at 11470 San Jose Blvd. in Mandarin. 

The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing an application for a 4,800-square-foot convenience store, gas pumps and canopy along with a 2,300-square-foot drive-thru restaurant and a 1,340-square-foot single-bay automated car wash. 

It is the former site of a Golden Corral restaurant.

Walmart Neighborhood Market remodels

Walmart intends to remodel its Walmart Neighborhood Market stores in Baymeadows and San Pablo at $500,000 each.

The city is reviewing permits for full remodels of the stores in Baymeadows Commons at 9550 Baymeadows Road and in the Village Shoppes at San Pablo at 1650 San Pablo Road S.
