The city is reviewing civil engineering plans.

“The proposed development consists of a scrape and rebuild of an existing McDonald’s replacing it with a new modernized standalone restaurant,” says an introduction filed with the plans.

Property records show McDonald’s Restaurants of Florida Inc. of Jacksonville owns the existing 3,283-square-foot building, which was developed in 1981.

Plans show a new 4,712-square-foot restaurant.
