The city issued a permit March 10 for Tenant Contractors Inc. to build-out BGE Inc.’s Jacksonville office space at 10151 Deerwood Park Blvd., in Suite 200 of Building 200, at a cost of $809,133.
The space in Deerwood South previously was occupied by The Adecco Group, which relocated to the Florida Blue Campus.
Build-out for the 12,808-square-foot facility is expected to be completed by June, said professional engineer Jenny Urcan, BGE director of land and site development, in January.
BGE announced in August 2022 that Urcan joined the firm as director of land/site development to launch the firm’s presence in Jacksonville.
When the build-out is completed, the office will be 15,000 square feet and have as many as 75 workstations, Urcan said.
The Jacksonville office has five employees. By the end of 2023, she expects it will have eight to 10.
