CBRE is moving its Downtown commercial real estate office from One Enterprise Center into Wells Fargo Center in the fourth quarter of 2023.

“As we considered how to improve our Jacksonville office, it was important to consider real estate options that would keep us in the heart of downtown,” said CBRE Executive Managing Director and Jacksonville market leader Tripp Gulliford.

“The space we found allows us to build out an innovative, flexible experience to better support the needs of our professionals and clients.”

CBRE signed a lease for 11,687 square feet of space.

The space is on the 30th floor of the 35-story Wells Fargo Center at 1 Independent Drive W., which also has two levels of basement parking.

A pending building permit shows that Ladson Construction is the contractor for the estimated build-out cost of $2.1 million.

The real estate firm will move from the ground floor at nearby One Enterprise Center at 225 Water St.

Both are on the Northbank of the St. Johns River.

Our Workplace360 office will create a new way of working in downtown Jacksonville, focusing on hybrid work and excellent amenities,” said Peter Van Emburgh, global head of CBRE’s corporate real estate.

“The building allows us to create enhanced collaboration spaces and seamless technology, all with exceptional harbor views.”

CBRE Senior Vice President Lou Nutter and Vice President Billy Kuntz are the leasing representatives for the building on behalf of the landlord.
