The Coggin College of Business at the University of North Florida is offering a new Strategic People Management program to augment human resource development for middle- and large-size businesses.

A Jan. 20 news release says the series focuses on empowering business leaders and managers to embrace a more strategic human resources mindset, hone effective workforce management decision-making skills and help their organizations thrive.

Four class titles are offered: New Rules of Engagement, Achieving Breakthrough Results, People Analytics, and Leading a Culture of Innovation.

The topics and the series may be completed live online or on campus.

Coggin College of Business also plans to launch two new executive programs this spring.

The first, offered in partnership with the Small Business Development Center at UNF, is centered on business resilience and continuity, particularly for small businesses.

The second, the Executive Briefcase, will focus on topics to help senior executives build technical and interpersonal skills, including executive presence, storytelling with data, giving and receiving feedback and strategic communication.
